Brighton and Hove Albion have finalized the signing of Yussif Moro Owusu, a Ghanaian youngster, from Chelsea.
On Friday, July 29, 2022, Moro officially confirmed his new move via his Twitter account.
“Happy to join the @OfficialBHAFC(Brighton and Hove Albion) family. A new path, a new home,” Moro tweeted.
Yussif was promoted to the Chelsea U-23 squad last year after impressing for the Chelsea U-18s.
He will be unable to sign a professional contract with Brighton until he reaches the age of 17 in February 2023.
The Ghanaian is a versatile midfielder who can also play center back.
Black Stars defender Baba Rahman congratulated the youngster on Twitter.
"All the best bro," Baba Rahman tweeted.
