Hersi Said, the president of Young Africans, has been appointed as the inaugural chairperson of the newly established African Club Association (ACA).
The announcement was made on Thursday during a successful meeting hosted by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe in Cairo, Egypt.
The meeting brought together chairmen and senior representatives from the 60 most successful and prominent football clubs in Africa.
Pictures shared by Ghana's record champions, Asante Kotoko, showed their presence at the meeting, with two Interim Management Committee members in attendance.
