Ghanaian forward Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim scored a brace as his team, Hong Kong Rangers, dismantled Wofoo Tai Po 5-1 on Sunday morning in Round 18 of the Hong Kong Premier League.

The 26-year-old has now scored four goals in six league games, and his team is currently third in the league standings.

Nassam Ibrahim opened the scoring for Hong Kong Rangers after 11 minutes before Japanese midfielder Yumemi Kanda doubled their lead with a penalty in the 22nd minute.

Hoik-Hei Lam sent the visitors into halftime with a 3-0 lead after scoring in the 40th minute.

After the break, Nassam Ibrahim added to Hong Kong Rangers' tally by completing his brace in the 54th minute.

Ryota Hayashi put the icing on the cake with the fifth goal of the game 10 minutes later.

Wofoo Tai Po got a consolation goal through Ka-Ho Lee seven minutes after the hour mark.

The draw means Tai Po is in seventh place on the league table with 20 points from 18 games, while Hong Kong Rangers are third with 33 points.
