West Ham United manager, David Moyes heaped praise on Ghana star Mohammed Kudus on Sunday afternoon after his team’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle United.
The Black Stars attacker was a second-half substitute today and scored a vital goal to secure a point for the Hammers.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach David Moyes applauded Mohammed Kudus for making a difference when he was introduced into the game.
“For long periods in the second half, Newcastle were the better team and we were struggling to contain them at times. I thought the substitutes today made a bit of a difference, especially Mo who gave us a different impetus and obviously then got us the equalizing goal as well, which helped us.
“I’m quite pleased with a lot of bits of the performance, especially in the first half when we got in front and we defended well when we needed to,” David Moyes said.
After the game against Newcastle United, Mohammed Kudus is turning his attention to the Black Stars.
He is part of the Ghana squad for the upcoming international friendly games against Mexico and the USA.
