Red Star Belgrade forward Osman Bukari says his outfit will approach their game against Armenian side Pyunik in the Champions League qualifiers second leg with full concentration despite the resounding victory in first leg.
The enterprising winger who joined the Serbian club this summer scored a superb hat-trick as Red Star Belgrade defeated Pyunik 5-0 in the UEFA Championship League third qualifying round first leg.
Ahead of the return fixture on Tuesday, the former Nantes player says his side will approach the return leg with full concentration in order to win.
“I still can't get over the excitement. Everything is like a fairy tale, like a dream. We showed a great game and that we are a real team. We won a big victory, but we don't think of going to Armenia for the second leg as a tourist. This team doesn't think like that. So, with full concentration and respect for the opponent, we want to show how professional we really are” he told Sportal.
“Well, how can I feel when I score three goals in one match, let alone a European one. There's a fire burning in me! I am delighted. But the truth is that I wouldn't have been able to express myself if it weren't for the team, my teammates. I am of the opinion that we functioned flawlessly against Pjunik. We implemented all the ideas of our coach and that is another thing that I am particularly proud of.
“I dedicate the goals to these wonderful fans. I heard when I had to arrange the transfer that the "deliyas" are phenomenal. But what I experienced cannot be properly described. They are amazing. Because of such fans, I want to jump out of my skin and show more, to play harder, better... Kudos to them!” he said.
