Crystal Palace versatile player Jeffery Schlupp says his outfit will work in order to get rid of conceding goals during games.
The Eagles have had a season turn around under Hodgson, who rejoined the team after the international break in March.
Crystal Palace recorded a 4-3 win at Selhurst Park over West Ham United on Saturday to stay comfortable on the table.
Despite securing a win in the London derby at Selhurst Park, the Eagles will have been disappointed to concede three goals from corner kicks to West Ham.
And according to Schlupp, his side will aim to improve in that regard.
“It’s one of those things today. They’re a physical side, they’ve got some tall players, and we knew it was going to be tough. We tried to disrupt them but at the end of the day they’ve worked their corners well and managed to score three goals.
“You can’t say it’s luck for them – I’m sure they work on them a lot and it worked today – but in general, I thought we dominated the game. No-one feels too bad about the set-piece goals.
“We know we’re going to have to work on them and keep concentrating, but that’s what they [West Ham] are known for and they’re going to cause a lot of teams trouble with their set-plays, so we know what to work on now.
“We don’t want to concede any more – we’ll work on that and I’m sure we’ll be fine.” He told Palace TV.
