The head coach of Bechem United, Kassim Mingle has expressed disappointment in his team’s inability to win the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title.
The gaffer and his team needed to beat Aduana Stars on Sunday and hope Medeama SC lost to Tamale City FC to be crowned champions of the league this season.
After losing to Aduana Stars, Coach Kassim Mingle described it as unfortunate.
“It’s unfortunate we couldn’t win. The way we played we thought we would have won.
“This season we played better than last season and should have won the league,” the Bechem United coach said.
According to coach Kassim Mingle, his team could not win the league because players became complacent when the side hit top form.
“Complacency set it so it became difficult for my boys to win games. It frustrated the team when we were winning and that affected us,” Coach Mingle said.
Bechem United after losing 1-0 to Aduana Stars on the final day of the league have finished third on the league standings.
