FC Samartex 1996 coach, Nurudeen Amadu says his side is working tirelessly well to improve their performance away in the ongoing football season.
The Timbers Boys in the matchday 10 games of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League games stunned Asante Kotoko at the Nsenkyire Park on Saturday in Samreboi.
While Samartex has picked up back-to-back home wins against Kotoko and Legon Cities, the team has missed out on wins in away games against Berekum Chelsea, Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama.
However, Amadu identified this trend as a concern despite picking the big win over Kotoko and added his team is working to be better away from Nsenkyire Park.
“We are still working on the away performance. Now the play is good we are always dominating play but it’s about how we can translate that into goal scoring and that’s what we are going to be working on exactly,” Amadu said.
