Ghana coach, Chris Hughton has reacted to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) draw.
The Black Stars have been housed in Group B alongside Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
Speaking on the Ghana Football Association (GFA)’s official media channel, Hughton spoke about his “lack of knowledge” of Mozambique and Cape Verde.
“The first thing you think about is the competition that you are very much looking forward to. Whenever the group comes out, I think you always look at it, it could have been better for us but of course, you also have to look at it, it could have been worse so it’s one that we are very much looking forward to.”

The 34th edition of the tournament, which Ivory Coast will host for the second time after the previous time was in 1984, will take place between January 13 and February 11, 2024.
