Nations FC coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle has set sights on clinching the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season.
The Premier League debutants has been impressive so far in the top-flight, winning nine, drawing four and losing six games. They are currently fourth on the standings with 31 points with a game at hand.
Nations FC shared the spoils with Medeama in the week 20 clash at the Dr Kwame Kyei Complex on Sunday. They played out a 1-1 draw in the encounter.
The Yellow and Mauves opened the scoring through defender Abdul Fatawu Hamidu before Asamoah Boateng Afriyie scored to level pegging for the host.
Speaking after the game, Kasim Mingle emphasized his outfit are in to battle for the Ghana Premier League title.
“Any team playing the Premiership wants to go for the ultimate, so we are also in for it, we are not playing for playing sake” he said.
Meanwhile, he has urged the fans of the team to exercise patience following stalemate against Medeama.
“I will plead with the fans to exercise patience after draw against Medeama. We went to the league leaders home and beat them but Medeama came here and couldn’t beat us, they drew with us” he said.
