Nasiru Banahene scored the winning goal in FC Honka's 2-1 win against FC KTP in the Finnish Veikkausliiga.

Banahene started the game at the Arto Tolsa Areena and lasted the full 90 minutes. Fellow compatriot Edmund Arko Mensah also started for Honka and lasted 85 minutes.

Honga had a terrible first quarter. Miska Ylitolva found Mika in the box after around four and a half minutes of play. Florian Baak, on the other hand, defended valiantly and stopped the attacker's shot.

KTP, on the other hand, took the lead eight minutes later when Mika's shot fell into the Honka net.

Honka's playing improved after the rebound goal, as he generated a couple of situations in KTP's end. Roman Eremenko got a header from Nasiru's cross, but it sailed over the crossbar.

Willis Furtado took down Arko-Mensah in the box, allowing Roman Eremenko to score on the spot. Eremenko's penalty attempt was flawless, bringing the score to 1-1.

Honka scored the game-winning goal in the 71st minute, and Nasiru was in the thick of things. The midfielder initiated the play towards FC KTP's goal and scored to make the score 2-1.
