In a Sunday morning Major League Soccer match, Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Opoku played a key role for CF Montréal. He scored a goal and provided an assist in their 4-1 victory over the Portland Timbers.

Opoku, a 22-year-old talent, has made an impact since joining CF Montréal in July. In just 12 games, he's scored three goals in the Major League Soccer, showing his influence on the team.

Opoku set up Sanusi Ibrahim for a goal in the 28th minute and then scored one himself, assisted by Ibrahim.

Mathieu Choiniere added a third goal for CF Montréal just past the hour mark, assisted by Romell Quioto. Kwadwo Poku was subbed out in the 68th minute, replaced by Lassi Lappalainen.

CF Montréal continued their dominance, with Mason Toye scoring their fourth goal in the 76th minute. Franck Boli managed a consolation goal for the Portland Timbers in the 86th minute, assisted by Yimmi.
