The recently ended Ghana FA congress was converted into a forum for the incumbent Ghana FA president Kurt Okraku to show his control and declare his decision to run for re-election amid an explosion of campaign intensity.
New Edubiase United CEO Alex Ackumey was a witness among the sea of delegates and football pundits.
The Ghana Football Association Congress was held in Kumasi.
"I will say that the whole show was full of campaign messages because the president spoke a lot like he hasn't been in power before. He came to tell us what he wants to do four years that he had he couldn't do all these," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"He is now trying to convince those in congress that you are now coming to do it. Any other thing wasn't the agenda that we followed all the things didn't go against what they brought. The only topical thing was the president making a lot of promises if you listen to what he said now their work is big everybody heard what he said,"
"Most of the members after the congress said this one it is the same old story he made monetary promises to RFA etc we are coming to vote so he is trying to convince some of the members. This is normal everybody has a way to use an advantage,"
