In his bid for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), George Afriyie, an aspirant, has revealed an intriguing aspect of the vetting process.
Contrary to expectations centered around football governance and administration, Afriyie disclosed that the questions posed during his vetting were centered solely around the sport itself.
This unique line of inquiry sheds light on the multifaceted approach to evaluating potential leadership within the GFA.
"The integrity of the personnel or the gentlemen on the committee are very high I personally before going into this vetting did a background check on them and I realize that these are people who will do their job diligently," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"These are people who will not have any personal agendas in spite of some of the things I have heard before going into this vetting. I am sure it was already out that you will be disqualified you are the media you have heard it several times.
"I believe in them the questions were normal questions it was about football,"
