In a dazzling fusion of glamour and football excellence, the wonderful city of Marrakech, Morocco, is poised to host the prestigious 2023 CAF Awards.

Scheduled for Monday, 11 December 2023, the Movenpick Hotel will set the stage for this grand celebration, commencing at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT).

Anticipation swirls around the event as it promises to be a spectacular affair, honoring the continent's foremost achievers in the realm of football excellence.

Marrakech, with its rich cultural tapestry and awe-striking backdrop, is ready to cast its spell on the CAF Awards, transforming the evening into an unforgettable ode to African football brilliance.

The CAF Awards recognize exceptional performances in both club and national competitions, culminating in the prestigious titles of CAF African Player of the Year in both men's and women's categories.

Earlier this week, CAF announced the shortlists for the women’s categories for the CAF Awards 2023.

For the Player of the Year, ten players remain in the race for the prestigious individual honour. Whereas, the other categories namely Interclub Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year and Club of the Year, have five nominees each.
