Asante Kotoko midfielder, Baba Yahaya was disappointed on Sunday night after his team drew 1-1 with Karela United in the Ghana Premier League.
In a Round 3 encounter of the ongoing league season, the Porcupine Warriors created a lot of chances but only converted one.
A late goal from Baba Yahaya was enough to save Asante Kotoko from a defeat to ensure the team picked a point.
Speaking after the game, the midfielder appealed to fans to continue supporting the team.
He promised that players would fight harder in subsequent games to get a win for the team.
“The results are not coming but we thank them for coming in their numbers to support us. They shouldn’t give up on us. We hope the results will start coming and they will be happy.
“While we understand that every point is crucial in the league, we’re focused on building a strong team, and we’re optimistic about delivering better results in our next match,” Baba Yahaya said.
Asante Kotoko after the draw against Karela United have now turned attention to the Week 4 match against Accra Lions.
