FIFA Executive Council Member, Amaju Pinnick has noted that all eyes will be on Ghana on Thursday, October 5, when the Elective Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is held.
Speaking to the media at a press conference on Monday, the experienced football administrator said there is a lot of interest in Ghana because the country is regarded as one of the greatest football nations in Africa.
‘’We have been monitoring all the elective congresses in Africa; we have where we picture and see everything as they unfold so Ghana is no different. We have been seeing what is going on and we are following very religiously,” Amaju Pinnick said.
The FIFA Executive Council Member continued, ‘’The focus will be in Ghana on Thursday. My other colleagues are coming. President of the Nigeria Football Federation Ibrahim Musah Gusau will be here as well. There are so many interests in Ghana Football because Ghana is one of the greatest football nations out of this continent so all of us have to put our hands together to make it greater.”
The GFA Elective Congress is scheduled to be held in Tamale on Thursday, October 5.
