AFC Bournemouth striker, Antoine Semenyo says he is elated that when he joined the Black Stars in the international break, he was able to score for Ghana.
According to him, his confidence has been boosted after returning to his club in England, and is hopeful of good things to come.
"That's obviously a good thing. As an attacker, you want to score. I haven't scored in a while, so it's good for the confidence. I know that until the next game and when I come back to club football, I know that I have the confidence until the goal. I just have to take this with me.
“I'm happy with this goal, I needed it. I really needed it for confidence. I just have to keep going now and keep building on top of that,” Antoine Semenyo said.
This weekend, the Black Stars striker and his AFC Bournemouth teammates will be up against Fulham in the English Premier League.
The game will be played on Saturday at 2 pm.
