English-born Ghanaian Samuel Amo-Ameyaw, aged just 16, has made history as the youngest player to debut in the Premier League for Southampton FC.
In the thrilling final match of the 2022/23 season against Liverpool, Amo-Ameyaw was given his first-team debut by manager Ruben Selles.
With only three minutes left in the game, Amo-Ameyaw replaced James Ward-Prowse in what turned out to be a memorable encounter, resulting in a 4-4 draw at the Saint Mary's stadium.
