The General Manager of FC Samartex, Edmund Ackah, has warned that the club will not sympathize with Asante Kotoko when the two teams face off in the Ghana Premier League next month.
Samartex are top of the league while Kotoko have suffered four straight defeats now.
Ackah moved to the Samreboi-based club after leaving Asante Kotokofew years back.
Speaking on the current state of the Porcupine Warriors, Ackah was blunt in his comments about the club.
"I have been a supporter of a club before but now, I am a football administrator and a proud General Manager of FC Samartex,” Ackah told Green Gold 93.9 FM.
“I cannot say that because I was a supporter of a particular club when we [Samartex) meet that club, I should allow that club to beat FC Samartex. That should not happen.
“Samartex belongs to the good people of Wassa Amenfi and its enclave, so I expect them to give their unparalleled support to the team and regardless of their affiliation to Kotoko or Hearts."
Samartex will face Asante Kotoko in Kumasi in a month’s time.
