Ghana forward, Osman Bukari was left disappointed on Tuesday night after Red Star Belgrade lost 3-1 to Manchester City in the Uefa Champions League.
In a Round 1 encounter of the group stage of the new UCL campaign, the Black Stars winger started for his team away from home.
The forward in a game played at Etihad Stadium scored in the 45th minute to give Red Star Belgrade a narrow lead to take into the first-half break.
Unfortunately, the Serbian giants could not defend the slim lead after recess as Manchester City came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory.
Reacting after the game, Osman Bukari said Red Star Belgrade will bounce back stronger.
“Unfortunately, not the results we wanted but we will come back stronger! Thank y’all for the support,” the attacker said in a post on Twitter.
