A heavy downpour in Tarkwa has forced match officials for the Ghana Premier League match between Medeama SC and Bibiani Gold Stars to end proceedings before full-time.
The two clubs locked horns at the Akoon Park today in a Week 24 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Although the game started well, the first half could not be completed.
This was because of heavy rain that forced the match officials to suspend the game in the first half.
Due to the continuous rain, the game has now been postponed to continue tomorrow, Thursday, March 30.
“The match between Medeama SC and Bibiani Gold Stars has been rained off
“It will be played tomorrow at 10:00am,” an official statement by the Ghana Premier League said on Twitter.
