German-born Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache's prospects of staying at SpVgg Greuther Fürth are undoubtedly higher than they were previously.
The 24-year-old striker's club, Eintracht Frankfurt, is now willing to consider another loan rather than insisting on a purchase deal in connection with a change. Rachid Azzouzi, the managing director of sport at Fürth, disclosed this.
“Frankfurt has long planned to just sell Ragnar. That would have been very difficult for us economically. But now there is also an opportunity to extend the loan business," Azzouzi told Bild.
Ache participated in 32 games for Furth in the second tier last year, scoring seven goals and providing out four assists. His contract in Frankfurt is valid until 2025. However, his chances are bleak if he goes back to Frankfurt, which is one of the alleged reasons he personally advocated for a loan extension.
Ache's current market value is 1 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
