Techiman Eleven Wonders striker Zakaria Osman has shed light on his unique penalty-taking technique, explaining that his trademark move involves positioning himself far away from the ball, almost reaching the halfway line, before taking spot kicks.

Zakaria had a pivotal opportunity to secure victory for Wonders and secure their return to the Ghana Premier League.

However, his penalty kick was ultimately saved, prompting a range of reactions from fans of the club, who were eager to secure a return to the GPL after their relegation last season.

In his first interview following the match, Zakaria addressed the fans of Eleven Wonders and the entire Bono Region, appealing for their forgiveness.

When asked about his distinctive approach, with an extensive run-up nearly reaching the center circle before rushing to take the kick, Osman described it as his personal trademark.

“It is my trademark. Normally, whenever I am about to take a penalty, I always position myself far away from the ball.”
