Danlad Ibrahim has penned a new contract extension with Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko.
The 19-year-old, who re-joined the Porcupine Warriors at start of last season after a successful loan spell at Berekum Chelsea is set to remain with the club for two more seasons having agreed fresh terms beyond the expiry of his previous deal.
The talented shot-stopper was a star for the Porcupine Warriors club last season when he finally became the first-choice goalie.
Last season, he kept 12 clean sheets in the Ghana Premier League and conceded 12 goals.
His performance in the post was key as Asante Kotoko marched on to emerge as Champions of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Next season, the former Ghana U20 goalkeeper will be the first choice for the reds when the team fights for trophies not only on the domestic stage but in the CAF inter-club competitions.
The 2022/23 betPawa Premier League season will kick start on the weekend of Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12, 2022, across all nine league centers.
The fixtures for the upcoming season were released last week to enable clubs to prepare adequately for the season.
