Ghana commenced preparations for the encounter against Madagascar in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament on Monday, June 12.
Next weekend, Ghana will be one of the African countries that will feature in the next round of the qualifiers for the 2023 AFCON.
For the Black Stars, head coach Chris Hughton is relying on 25 players to secure a win against Madagascar.
To get players in shape and ready for the challenge that will be presented by Madagascar, the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager trained with his lads on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Out of the 25 players he has invited, the gaffer had 23 players engaging in the training. Midfielder Thomas Partey and defender Gideon Mensah were not present for the session.
The duo is expected to join the team for training on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will leave Ghana on Friday for Madagascar on Friday ahead of the AFCON qualifier on Sunday, June 18.
