Heart of Lions President and bankroller, Randy Abbey, believes the true beauty of the Kpando Sports Stadium will be seen when the facility is finally completed.
The Kpando-based club played their first top flight game at their traditional home ground just this past weekend in week 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
Heart of Lions claimed a shock 1-0 win over giants Asante Kotoko in their first game of the second round.
The club had to speed up work a bit so they can play home games at the Kpando Sports Stadium that aided their promotion fight last season.
Speaking to Max TV after the game, the Ghana Football Association Executive Council Member said work on the facility is not done yet.
“We are not done yet, we were desperate to come back home so we needed to ensure that we put the place in shape.
“You can see that there is still work ongoing and I am sure that anytime you come here you will see an improvement. Eventually when it is done you’d see what we intend to make of this place.”
