Ghanaian footballer Patrick Kpozo, who currently plays as a left-back for Sheriff Tiraspol, has revealed that he enjoyed playing at Old Trafford during a match against Manchester United in October 2022.

The defender, who played the full 90 minutes of the game, commented on his experience during an interview on GhanaWeb's Sports Check.

According to Kpozo, playing at Old Trafford was a good feeling and not something he found intimidating or unusual.

He compared the atmosphere at the stadium to that of Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, where he had also played before.

Kpozo also noted that he had played against other big teams with large followings, such as Real Sociedad, which helped him feel comfortable in the face of such challenges.

"I think it was a good feeling. It's not only Old Trafford, I've gone to Arsenal before and I've seen the fans and I played against Real Sociedad which is also big with a lot of fans. I think it was normal, for me it was normal," he told Ghanaweb.

Despite his team's 3-0 loss to Manchester United, Kpozo was praised for his performance in marking Antony out of the game.

The defender has also been making strides in his professional career, earning a debut call-up for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in March.
