Pfeiffer joined the Augsburgers on a free transfer from promoted Darmstadt 98.
The 23-year-old had a fantastic season in the Bundesliga II with Darmstadt where he made 26 appearances in all competitions with four goals and an assist.
Pfeiffer, born in Hamburg, is yet to get a Black Stars call-up since the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced he has officially switched nationality to represent Ghana at the senior level in July 2022.
