Ghana international, Jordan Ayew has set sight on helping Crystal Palace to beat Arsenal on Monday night.
The Eagles will host the Gunners later today in a Round 2 encounter of the 2022/23 English Premier League season.
Speaking ahead of the game, Jordan Ayew stressed the importance of making the club’s home venue a fortress.
He rallied his teammates to put up a good performance against Arsenal to pick up maximum points from the game today.
“At home, with our supporters and with players who have our quality, it’s normal that we put teams under pressure and make it hard for teams.
“A team like Crystal Palace have to make it difficult for every team, and at home especially, it should be our fortress, with the twelfth man that we have – our supporters.
“That’s what we try to do, and we’ll do it again on Monday. We want to have a great season, and that starts from winning games at home,” Jordan Ayew said.
Jordan Ayew was a star for Crystal Palace on the opening weekend of the Premier League.
He provided the assist for the only goal of the game as the Eagles defeated Sheffield United 1-0.
