The head coach of Real Tamale United (RTU), Abdulai Abdul Mumin has opened up on what strategy he used to beat Accra Lions on Friday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.
The gaffer and his lads allowed Lions to dominate play today but did the needful by scoring the goals to cruise to a 3-1 win.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Abdulai Abdul Mumin explained that his decision to let his Real Tamale United side play a high-pressing game did the trick to ensure they bagged all three points.
“We studied their game and analyzed it very well. We knew they were good technically on the ball so we took them on and with high pressing we were able to get the needed results,” Coach Abdulai Abdul Mumin said in an interview with StarTimes.
He continued, “I think it’s work in process. We will not say this is the end. We will continue to work hard and the results will follow as we go.”
Following the Week 6 win over Accra Lions, RTU have climbed to the top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
