In a significant show of support, prominent football administrator Ntow Fianko has thrown his weight behind George Afriyie's bid for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
With his extensive experience and dedication to the sport, Fianko's endorsement serves as a pivotal boost to Afriyie's campaign, further solidifying his position as a formidable candidate vying to lead the country's football governing body.
George Afriyie officially announced last week he will contest for the GFA Presidency ending months of speculation in the local media.
"I am still a supporter of George if he goes 100 times everybody knows that I will follow him I am his supporter. When he came into football first he was my apprentice I was the Division One League board chairman," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
"His first post that's what he did it was my post it was like Kwsei Nyantakyi first position he was a Division One league board member when I was the Vice Chairman so I have known George for a long time,"
