FC Kaiserslautern's latest addition, Richmond Tachie, sets his sights on a victorious chapter with the Bundesliga 2 side in the upcoming season.
"FC Kaiserslautern is an unbelievable club with really great fans. I've already played twice on the Betze and I'm already looking forward to playing as the Red Devil from now on. My goal is to help the team and have a successful season,” the 24-year-old former SC Paderborn 07 man told his club's official website
Sporting director Thomas Hengen lauded Richmond Tachie's attacking abilities and added that he is also a team player.
"Richmond is a very well-trained striker who can play all positions offensively. We want to accompany him in his next development steps. He is an absolute team player and gives us more variability on the offensive,”
Despite playing for the Germany U19 and U20 national youth teams, the attacking forward who was born in Berlin is still qualified to represent Ghana at the international level.
The attacker started his youth football career with Tennis Borussia Berlin from 2004 to 2013 and VfL Wolfsburg from 2013 to 2018.
