Mozambique, Zambia, and South Sudan have arrived in the land of the Pharaoh ahead of the AFCON U20 kick-off.

The competition will kick-off on 19 February in Cairo Stadium with the final scheduled for 11 March 2023.

The Os Mambas juniors of Mozambique will face the hosts, Egypt, in the tournament's first game on Sunday, February 19, at 16:00 local time at Cairo International Stadium. Senegal and Nigeria will also compete in group A alongside Mozambique.

South Sudan has also landed in Egypt as they compete in their inaugural TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. The debutants will be stationed in Ismailia and will compete against Central African Republic, Congo, and Uganda in group B.

The opening Group C encounter for the Zambians, who won this championship in 2017, will take place on February 21 at the Alexandria Stadium versus Benin. 19:00 local time will mark the beginning of the game.

This edition of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations is a qualifier for the FIFA U-20 World Cup scheduled for May.
