Olympique Khouribga's striker, Kwame Poku, has expressed his conviction that Morocco has the capacity to host any significant football tournament.

The Ghanaian forward, who transferred to Morocco during the mid-season window earlier this year, has been deeply impressed by the country's sports infrastructure.

Poku, who spoke with 3Sports, posited that Moroccan football is currently in excellent condition, evident from the facilities and the branding of their national teams and clubs. He lauded the diligent efforts made to advance Moroccan football's development.

The striker commended the country's infrastructure, asserting its superior development compared to other countries where he has played.

In his words, "In terms of infrastructure, Morocco is very well developed. In the other countries I have played some of them use astroturf. Almost all the clubs here have their stadium which has natural pitches. Even the training equipment is really good here."

Morocco has a rich footballing history, having hosted significant tournaments such as the 2013 African Cup of Nations. The country is also bidding to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
