Ghanaian midfielder Mudasiru Salifu will feature for Moldovan giants FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the upcoming season after completing a move to the club.
The midfielder joins from Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko and is expected to play a huge role for the club.
Mudasiru departed Ghana for trials last month with two other Asante Kotoko players namely Richard Boadu and Andrews Appau.
After impressing the technical handlers of FC Sheriff, the club has handed the 25-year-old a contract. He penned a deal on Monday morning after successfully passing his medicals.
“FC Sheriff staff is pleased to welcome Mudasiru Salifu and wishes him success in our club’s yellow and black shirt” the club tweeted.
Mudasiru played a huge role in Kotoko's Ghana Premier League triumph. He scored two goals in 28 matches for the Porcupine Warriors.
He joins his former Kotoko teammate Razak Abalora at the club.
