Sabit Abdulai, one of Deportiva Ponferradina's new players, was introduced to the media on Thursday.
The midfielder stated in his presentation that he is "extremely delighted to be here" and thrilled to play again after a terrible season.
“Last year I had a serious injury, but I am now recovered,” Sabit explained.
In this regard, the Ghanaian midfielder was pleased with both his personal and collective presentation with the club:
“In Cartagena I felt very good on the pitch. I want to have a good year to help the team,” said the player on loan from Getafe, who also felt “very happy to have played again,”
Sabit Abdulai moved to Spain in 2017 to join Deportivo Alavés, but paperwork issues ruled out the move. He later had trials at Rio Ave FC and UB Conquense, before joining Extremadura UD from Spartans FC in July 2018 on a one-year loan deal, and was assigned to the reserves in Tercera División.
He signed a permanent three-year contract with Getafe in 2021 after his loan expired. Sabit suffered a serious knee injury in July of that year.
