Israeli outfit Maccabi Netanya reportedly rejected an offer from Hapoel Be'er Sheva to sign Ghana forward Patrick Twumasi.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva who were keen to secure the services of the former Alaves striker made cash plus a player bid, but Maccabi Netanya rejected the offer to keep their star.
"Twumasi is not leaving Maccabi Netanya, despite interest," a team official said.
The enterprising forward joined Netanya in February 2022 and has established himself as a key cog to the side.
He has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 18 matches so far.
The 28-year-old current contract with Netanya will expire in June 2023, and Hapoel Be'er Sheva are expected to make another move in January.
Meanwhile, Maccabi Netanya have the option to renew the contract for another year.
