Experienced Ghanaian midfielder, Gladson Awako has given Medeama SC and Dreams FC important advice ahead of their campaign in Africa.

Having won the Ghana Premier League title last season, Medeama SC will represent the country in the CAF Champions League next season.

For Dreams FC, the Dawu-based club as the winner of the MTN FA Cup will play in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Speaking to Akoma FM, Gladson Awako has admonished the two clubs and their fans to lower their expectations before the start of the CAF inter-club competitions.

“The performance of Medeama and Dreams FC in the just ended season wasn't that bad, especially from where they (Medeama) emerged from to snap the league and how Dreams FC also snapped the FA Cup. But I will advise them to lower their expectations going to Africa,” Gladson Awako shared.

He continued, “My reason is premised on the fact that the quality in our league now cannot be compared to what we used to have in the past where Kotoko and Hearts dominated Africa.”

Both Medeama SC and Dreams FC will know their opponent for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively tomorrow.
