Ghanaian international Nathaniel Adjei has hailed Lorient fans after triumphing over Stade Rennais in the French Ligue 1.
Adjei, who joined Lorient during the January transfer window played a huge role to propel his outfit to snatch victory at the Roazhon Park.
The 21-year-old was rock-solid at the back as his side defied all odds to secure victory against Rennais in the week 24 of the top-flight on Sunday.
The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net in the encounter.
Lorient opened the scoring through Mohamed Bamba in the 59th minute mark before Elie Kroupi sealed victory for the visitors on stoppage time.
But Rennais managed to grab a consolation goal in injury time through Amine Gouiri.
“Huge 3 points yesterday, fans were class” he wrote on Instagram.
