The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Legon Cities, Kwabena Onyina Asenso has indicated that the club has absolute trust in head coach Maxwell Konadu.

In the midst of the struggles of the club, he says the club is confident that Maxwell Konadu will save the team from relegation at the end of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

“Definitely, Maxwell Konadu will do the job. We started very well but I don’t know what happened in the middle of the season. I think the World Cup break and those 3 players we let go for the CHAN cost us a lot but I know things will pick up.

“I think for about two or three matches they are doing very well so hopefully things will work out. Just that Maxwell will take from the place, Relegation? Maxwell will do the job. I know what he can do he has done it before so he can do it,” Kwabena Onyina Asenso indicated.

Today, Legon Cities are facing Asante Kotoko at the El Wak Stadium. A defeat will drag Legon Cities FC further into the relegation zone.
