Stellar performances from Aduana FC forward Bright Adjei, Salifu Ibrahim of Accra Hearts of Oak, and Agyenim Boateng Mensah of Dreams FC have earned them spots in Laryea Kingston's Team of the Week for Matchday 20 of the Ghana Premier League.
The trio played instrumental roles in securing crucial points for their respective clubs over the weekend.
Salifu Ibrahim scored the lone goal for Hearts of Oak in their 1-1 draw against Bofoakwa Tano, while Agyenim Boateng Mensah netted twice, once in each half, to give Dreams FC a commanding 2-0 victory over Nsoatreman FC on Sunday.
Bright Adjei who recently returned to the domestic league after a stint in Tanzania, scored the match-winning goal for Aduana FC in their 1-0 triumph over Legon Cities in Dormaa.
In addition to the high-scoring trio, Laryea Kingston's Team of the Week features former Accra Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed, now with Karela United, Joseph Kinful of Bechem United, Shawkan Mohammed of Accra Lions, and Hearts of Lions left-back Musah Mohammed. Midfielder Frank Amankwah of Bibiani Gold Stars and Blessing Asuman Dankwah complete the list in a 4-3-3 formation.
Karim Zito was named Coach of the Week following his team's impressive 2-0 win against Nsoatreman FC.
