Kingsley Schindler ready for Samsunspor challenge after bidding farewell to FC Koln

Ghana international, Kingsley Schindler has expressed his readiness for the challenge that awaits him in the Turkish Super Lig.

The midfielder who can also play as a defender signed to become a new player of Turkish club Samsunspor on Wednesday, July 26.

“Our club has signed a 2+1 year contract with the middle right wing Kingsley Schindler of the Ghana National Team, who played for the last 1st FC Köln.

“We wish good luck to our athletes and our community,” parts of the club statement from Samsunspor said.

In a statement today, Kingsley Schindler bid farewell to FC Koln and the fans for his exciting stay in Germany.

According to him, his stint at FC Koln was the best four years of his career.

“Dear FC fans, I would like to thank you for the four best years of my career so far! I had so many great moments with the team and I will miss the unique atmosphere in Müngersdorf. Conference League, Derby victories, and the birth of my daughter – I experienced and enjoyed everything in cologne,” he wrote in a social media post.

Kingsley Schindler, 30, says he is now ready for the next challenge of his career. He is not ready to quit now and wants to make a name for himself in Turkey.

“I’m facing a new adventure. Going abroad with 30 years and my great family and looking forward to what’s to come. You can never go quite like that,” the midfielder added.
