King Faisal's head coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu is confident that he can lead the team to win the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
The Ghanaian tactician was confirmed by the management of King Faisal as the new head coach on Wednesday, April 5.
Shortly after the announcement, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu was on the bench for the team in the Week 21 outstanding match of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league season.
Speaking on the pressure he has taken on, the coach said he is confident he will save King Faisal from relegation.
According to him, he is confident that the club can even go on to win the Ghana Premier League title.
“The reality is that I'm a results oriented. I saved Dreams FC, and I'm here to save King Faisal, too.
“When you look at the points build up. It's possible we can win the League,” Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu shared.
On the goalless draw against Asante Kotoko, the new King Faisal coach admitted that it was a tough encounter.
“It was a difficult game. Considering I had one session with the team. And we also went down by a man down. So we had to defend and not concede. We wanted to win, trust me, we wanted to win. But it's football,” he said.
