English-born Ghanaian defender Jarell Amorin Quansah has signed a new contract with Premier League club Liverpool FC.
The Reds did not add any other information to the announcement which was made on Friday, May 12th.
The 20-year-old has made 16 appearances in the third English division for Bristol Rovers. He will return to Anfield Road for pre season ahead of the new season.
Quansah joined Liverpool from Woolston Rovers in his hometown of Warrington when he was five years old.
On February 4, 2021, Quansah signed his first deal with the Premier League team. During the 2020-21 season, he captained Liverpool's Under-18 team to the FA Youth Cup final.
Quansah joined League One team Bristol Rovers on loan until the end of the season on January 20, 2023. On 28 January, he made his senior debut, playing the entire 5-1 loss against Morecambe.
Quansah is eligible to play for England as well as Scotland, Ghana, and Barbados through his grandparents.
