According to reports, Zion Suzuki, a Japanese goalkeeper of Ghanaian heritage, is almost certain to join Manchester United.

Suzuki has made 28 appearances for Urawa Red Diamonds across all leagues, and he has earned one Japan cap after making his debut for the national team in July 2022.

Man United reportedly has a contract in place for the kid after making a £5 million approach to purchase him during this summer's transfer window, according to Sponichi.

According to the report, the 20-time English champions have been keeping an eye on Suzuki for a while and are about to reach an agreement to sign him to a contract for the 2023–24 season.

Man United is rumored to be considering adding two new keepers to the squad during the summer transfer window. David de Gea is a free agent after his contract expired on June 30th. Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has been heavily linked to a move to the Red Devils.

Suzuki was born in the United States to a Ghanaian father and a Japanese mother.
