Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Dr. Randy Abbey has insisted that it will be unfair to use the last ten years of the previous administration to judge the current administration.
His comments follow persisting criticism on the current administration. Some have said that the past administration despite all the bad name they had did better than the Kurt Okraku administration.
Speaking to Original FM in an interview on Monday, June 27, 2022, Dr. Randy Abbey said, “It’s not fair to use the ten years of the previous GFA to judge our current GFA.”
According to the Ghana FA Exco member, the Ghana FA is currently in the process of getting a DNA for the country’s football led by Technical Director Bernhard Lippert.
“The technical director of the GFA is working on the DNA of Ghana football he is writing about Ghana football philosophy,” Dr. Randy Abbey said.
Meanwhile, efforts are also being made to ensure the Ghana Premier League gets a headline sponsor before the start of the 2022/23 football season.
