Hearts of Oak legend, Amankwah Mireku has shared the view that if striker Inaki Williams is unable to score for the Black Stars, then he should not be invited to the national team.
According to him, the talented striker has had nothing to show since debuting for the Black Stars.
"Since his debut for Ghana, what has he to show? Absolutely nothing. He is yet to find the back of the net upfront, and other players also deserve a chance to demonstrate their abilities. Inaki needs to be excused from the team because in over nine appearances, he has nothing to show,” Amankwah Mireku said in an interview with Happy FM.
Inaki Williams who is concerned himself about his inability to score for the Black Stars is working hard to turn things around.
He set his eyes on scoring in the friendlies against Mexico and the USA but it did materialise.
Despite his poor numbers in the national team, Inaki Williams performs very well at the club level.
This season, he already has three goals in the Spanish La Liga for Athletic Bilbao.
