Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi is optimistic about his outfit chances ahead of their game against Stade Malien in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Still Believe lads will face the Malian giants in the quarterfinals of the Confederations after progressing from their group.
Having finished on top of their group, the Ghana FA Cup holders will travel to Mali for the first leg encounter this weekend before hosting the return leg a week later.
Agbasi emerged as the most valuable player, when Dreams FC held Medeama to a goalless draw at the Akoon Community Park on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, the enterprising goalkeeper expressed confidence about his outfit chances of triumphing over Stade Malien in the Confederations Cup.
“We are doing well and we will continue to do our best to get to the top and we need the support of all Ghanaians to rally behind us in order to deliver”
Asked if it’s doable against the Malian giants, he replied, “Yes, we are very strong and training very hard and mentally discipline”
“I have played with some of these French players and know their style. I have told the coach about it and we will work towards that and give our best”
