Former Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey, who recently made a move to Turkish club Besiktas, is eager to take on any role assigned by his new coach.

Embracing adaptability Amartey expressed his determination to contribute wherever he is needed on the pitch.

The versatile player's commitment to his team's success shines through as he embarks on this exciting new chapter in his career with the Eagles.

The Black Stars defender joined the Turkish top flight club from English club Leicester City on a free transfer this summer. Amartey will wear number 12 in the upcoming football season.

The 28-year-old will play under head coach Şenol Güneş

"I played in the positions of defender, right-back and defensive midfielder in my career. I feel better as a defender. However, I don't care where I play," he told Besiktas media.

"I respect my coach's decision, I will play wherever he wants me to play,"
